Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life
The Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life of Gyumri was founded in 1984. The museum galleries hold an abundance of trade and crafts that symbolized daily public and cultural life of traditional Alexandrapol. The wealthy house owner of that time during the 19th century, the Dzitoghtsyan family, decorated the home with luxurious furnishings that have been preserved and are still in place today to admire within the museum. This building, built in 1872, is a structure to be admired in and of itself.
